For MBIA and Bank of America, the Battle Rages On
A March 4 ruling dismissing claims by Bank of America and Societe Generale that New York regulators never should have allowed MBIA to spin off its municipal bond insurance business from its crippled structured finance division is a big milestone for MBIA. But smart MBIA investors aren't popping any champagne corks yet.
