No Decision on Dewey Settlement Proposal Until Next Week

At a hearing Thursday, the bankruptcy judge overseeing the Dewey & LeBoeuf Chapter 11 case approved the defunct firm's request to pay bonuses to two current employees and said he hopes to rule by Tuesday or Wednesday on a plan under which former partners would repay the Dewey estate a total of $71.5 million.
