Libyan Embassy Loses Cybersquatting Case

A D.C. federal judge has found that the Libyan government and the Embassy of Libya failed to prove that "Embassy of Libya" or "Libyan Embassy" were trademarks worthy of protection. The ruling means that the executive director of the Arab American Chamber of Commerce gets to keep his domain names, leaving the Libyan Embassy with www.libyausaembassy.com.
